This offering is more than a financial gift—it’s a declaration.
We’re saying, “We’re all in.”
It’s a response to His faithfulness. It’s a stake in the ground for what
He’s building among us.
Jesus said, “Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”
(Matthew 6:21)
This is our moment to say—our heart is in His House.
SUNDAY, JUNE 22
Our Heart is
in His House

“My house shall be called a House of Prayer”
Prayer is not just something we do. It’s who we are becoming.
This year, we’ve seen something stirring—an awakening of prayer that’s not confined to a room, a rhythm, or a role. It’s expanding. It’s multiplying. It’s moving across our city and into hearts. From spontaneous prayer gatherings to scheduled nights in the city, we’re watching hunger grow and altars be built—by teenagers, families, and leaders alike.
We believe God is forming us into a house of prayer for all people—one that carries His presence into every space, not just the ones we own.
This is about building an altar—not just at the center, but across the region.
It’s about nurturing the fire that’s already been lit and inviting others to tend it with us.
Let’s give toward what God is already growing.
Let’s invest in the fire of prayer that shapes the future.
We’re a people shaped by presence—and marked by extravagant, intimate worship.
Over this past season, we’ve seen worship deepen in intimacy and widen in extravagance. From the spontaneous songs rising in our prayer rooms to the sound of young voices in our family gatherings, there’s a sense that something sacred is being stirred and formed. Unwritten nights, prayer-fueled sets, multi-generational teams, and raw, Spirit-led recordings are carrying the sound of His heart and our house.
The future of worship isn’t about production—it’s about presence. And we believe it’s time to capture what God is doing and steward it well.
This is about honoring what God is pouring out on us—and creating pathways for others to encounter Him through it.
Let’s make space for it. Let’s invest in it.
Let’s release the sound that’s rising.
The next generation is hearing His voice. We’re making room for them to respond.
God is moving among the next generation—and we’re catching up. Over the past year, we’ve watched teenagers step boldly into mission— beyond the building, into neighborhoods and nations. They’re growing in faith, rising in leadership, and showing up to worship with hearts fully engaged. At the same time, we’ve seen dozens come to faith on the streets.
From city outreach to spontaneous moments, from hunger in conversations to tears in prayer, God is awakening a generation. They’re asking for Bibles.
This isn’t a program we’ve launched or a strategy we have designed. It’s a move of God. And we believe our role is to make space - spiritually and practically - for what He is already doing.
Let’s invest in the sons and daughters God is already calling home.
Let’s build a house that welcomes them...and sends them.
We’re not choosing between depth and reach—we’re moving from the altar into the streets. As worship and prayer rise at the center, mission and presence extend into the city.
This year, we’ve seen Brookhurst become more than a venue. It’s becoming a visible altar in the city—a place where presence is hosted, families are gathering, and community is forming. What began as a monthly rented space has become a weekly rhythm of worship, prayer, and belonging.
And the hunger keeps growing. New faces are stepping in. Lives are being marked. The sound that rises in the house is now echoing in another part of the city—and we sense this is just the beginning. This isn’t an off-site service. It’s an expression of the house. It’s the overflow of everything God is forming at the center—now taking root in new soil.
Let’s go where He’s leading.
Let’s build with presence.
Whether it’s an outdoor area for connection or a room refreshed for ministry, we want our spaces to reflect His heart.

What is Heart for the House?
Heart for the House is a one-time, over-and-above offering—an opportunity to sow into the future God is building among us. While regular giving sustains the daily life of our church, this generous offering expands our current capacity. It helps us move forward with vision.
Why can’t this be funded through our regular budget or reserves?
We could have used existing resources but we wanted the sacrifice to reflect our heart. Like David, we want to give to the Lord something that costs us (2 Samuel 24:24). This offering is about more than donation—it’s about extravagant devotion.
Will this offering replace our Thanksgiving offering?
No. We remain deeply committed to our Thanksgiving Offering, which supports compassion and outreach. That’s our chance to give with the poor. Heart for the House is about giving for the house, for the family already here and the one still on the way. It helps us plan with boldness and move with vision.
How much do we need to raise?
We have budgeted costs for the completion of each of these projects which are listed above. We can do more ministry with more resource. Whatever comes in for the offering will determine the scale and the speed at which we are able to make the above happen.
What happens if we don’t raise the full amount?
We’ll prioritize what’s most strategic and timely, and we’ll move forward with what we have. But we’re believing in faith that the full vision can be funded—because this house has always responded with generosity and trust.
Can I give in stages or online?
Yes! You can give online, through the app, or via check. You can also make a pledge and give in stages over the next few months. Every gift—large or small—helps us move toward the future together.
What’s different about this year’s Heart for the House?
This year we’re building on what God’s already begun: deeper prayer rhythms, a rising sound of worship, visible hunger among our kids and youth, and new doors opening in the city.
How will we know what was accomplished?
We’ll share updates and stories throughout the year—capturing the impact your generosity made. Your giving isn’t just recorded—it’s remembered and multiplied in the lives it touches.
What should I do next?
We’re inviting everyone to pray, listen, and respond—not out of pressure, but out of partnership. When we all bring what we can, it makes room for God to do what only He can.
How can I give?
Below, you can see the different ways to give. You can also give via stock donation. You can find out more by emailing finance@dwellingplaceanaheim.com.
Let’s give with joy. Let’s give with faith. Let’s give from the heart.
This offering is not obligation—it’s an opportunity. A chance to partner with God in building something that will outlast us.
