Spring 2026 Small Group Term

Over the last couple of weeks, we’ve been hearing a clear invitation from the Lord—that this is a season where God is speaking, and where His voice is not just comforting us, but positioning us. Scripture tells us that when God speaks, landscapes shift, assignments are released, and lives move from promise into possession.

As a house, we believe this is a season of awakening—where God is calling us out of isolation and into intentional places of connection.

Small Groups are one of the places we respond to what God is saying. They’re where we don’t just hear together, but we journey together—where we’re rooted in community, trained for what God is entrusting to us, and strengthened to step into the more.

As our Spring Small Groups launch, we want to invite you to pray. Ask the Lord: Where are You inviting me to invest this season? Who am I meant to walk with?

This isn’t just about joining a group—it’s about being positioned together for what God is unfolding among us.

Types of Groups

  • No matter what stage of life you are in we want you to find a group that works best for you. Whether you are neck-deep in the changing of diapers, enjoying an empty nest, navigating the parenting of teenagers, or a college student we are confident there is a group for you.

  • What hobbies do you have? Well, prepare to make some new ones! Whether you are a novice or advanced, feel free to jump in and get involved in one of our exciting Interest groups that will push your creativity or fitness to new levels!

  • Course groups are focused on teaching/ equipping on a certain topic. Their format will be more educational, come prepared to learn something new!

  • General groups, like all of our groups, place a high value on social connectedness, and community formation while continuing to lean into the mission of stepping into the story of God for the sake of the city. These are groups planted in the city and for the city.

FAQ’s

  • Small Groups start the week of Feb 8th

  • Small Groups run for 8 weeks

  • When you click THIS LINK, you will view our group page displaying all the different groups available. Once you have selected a group, you will be asked to complete a few details in order to register for the group. Here are a few things to remember when signing up:

    If you have previously signed up for an event or group at Dwelling Place, please use the same email and/or phone number as previously used.

    Sign up each individual as a unique person. In other words, don’t sign up as John and Mary Smith. Have John Smith sign up and Mary Smith sign up, separately. 

  • After you sign up, you will receive an email from your group leader letting you know the specific details about your groups ie. where to meet and what time.

  • We have 4 main categories of groups:

    — General Groups

    — Courses

    — Life Stage

    — Interests Groups

  • We would encourage you to connect with one specific group at this time although you may want to join a course as well.

  • All groups have a limited capacity depending on their location. Online groups will have increased capacity because of the nature of being online while in person groups will be limited depending on the capacity of location or home.

  • Once a group is full, unless someone is unable to attend and is removed from the group, the group will be closed. We would encourage you to find another group.

  • We have all our leaders co-ordinated for this Summer Term but if you are interested in leading, contact us at smallgroups@dwellingplaceanaheim.com.
