Dear friend,
Before becoming the lead pastor of Vineyard Anaheim, I traveled throughout Europe training church and business leaders on how to practice kingdom leadership in a post-Christian culture. I trained hundreds of churches and thousands of leaders on the reset, skill set, and mindset required to thrive on the unique challenges created in an increasingly secularized culture.
Now, we would like to make that training available to you. Starting Sunday, Jan 16th at 4:30 pm, we are launching our second ‘Leadership Labs’ @ Vineyard Anaheim - setting aside ten Sundays to take our leadership to the next level.
Our time together will give you a behind-the-scenes look at the culture of leadership within VA, and train potential future leaders for ministry within our church, but it’s about so much more. We want to prepare you to lead where you are with kingdom leadership in the heart of culture - as an entrepreneur, filmmaker, small group leader, fin tech creator, business leader, or homemaker.
There is no cost for these evenings, but there are a couple of expectations:
1. We want to invest in leaders who lead themselves well. So it’s essential you are living free from addiction, sexual brokenness, immorality and pornography, with a track record of freedom in these areas of at least 1 year.
2. We want to invest in those bent on transforming culture rather than complaining about culture. It matters that our speech patterns are healthy, so it’s essential you are living without gossip, slander or murmuring towards leaders or others.
3. We want to invest in those who will steward God’s grace well. So, we’re inviting those who are on a journey of generosity and already giving (or about to give) to VA. We also want to invite those who will maximize this time by attending at least 8 of the 10 weeks.
If you are currently leading in culture, if you are an aspiring leader with godly character, if you have helped lead at Vineyard in the last 2 years, or would like to be a volunteer leader at VA in the future, join us on Sept 19th as together we take leadership at Vineyard to the next level.
Blessings,
Alan Scott
